Several biological, environmental and operational changes are affecting current-day rodent pest management in very significant ways. These include a re-focusing on delivering skilled assessments of each and every rodent job a pest professional takes on; profiling root causes of rodent infestations to achieve long-term results that match our customer’s expectations; strong considerations as to the environmental impact of rodenticides on wildlife; and trapping strategies that go way beyond simply placing out traps and returning to the account with the hope (vs. confidence) that the problem rodents interacted with our devices overnight. Noted rodentologist Dr. Bobby Corrigan will address these and other current-day rodent management issues.
