William T. “Bill” Hoffman began his career in the pest control industry in 1980 as a summer helper, following years of hands-on work on a pig farm, picking peaches, and working at a local feed store. He founded Hoffman’s Exterminating in 1990 with a clear vision: to be best in class while serving the community, his employees, and his customers. A certified entomologist and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) for the food industry, Hoffman continuously seeks out advanced techniques and materials to keep customers pest-free. Today, Hoffman’s Exterminating operates six locations across five states, employs 100 staff members, and is recognized among the Top 100 pest control firms in the United States. The company’s guiding principle has always been to be the best—not necessarily the biggest—by fostering a family-oriented environment and delivering “Quality Service with Personalized Care.” This focus has helped the company build long-term relationships with both customers and employees.

Hoffman currently serves on several boards and committees, including the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey, which he considers one of his most rewarding commitments.
